100 Words: Greed

It started with the little things; a bottle of perfume or a piece of jewellery or a fancy meal. After a while those things just weren’t enough for me anymore and I moved up the scale.

Designer shoes became designer dresses became a week in Cannes. Before I knew it I was having my own little sports car to run around in and then my own apartment. I always want more.

In return he takes what he wants. I’m okay with that. I understand the transaction.

And I know I’ll never get what I really want from him; his time.

I'm glad this is fiction, haven't been by lately, having found a whole bunch of M.S. bloggers. 100 words isn't much to work with. Still I think if only I could write half as well as you.

Nice post. A lot of expression for so few words. I think it's really interesting what you are doing with the 7 deadly sins theme.
