100 Words:Envy

Everyone sees me, they cannot help themselves. I am the perfect embodiment of female beauty, Venus De Milo made flesh. Golden hair and perfect curves are mine and I cannot help that.

But you? You with your frizzy hair and doughy flesh? No one notices you and the way you stand on the edges of the group, invisible. No one but him. For him you light up the room the way I do for others.

I keep smiling but inside I wither. He is the only one I want and you have him. My heart turns to the deepest black.

Nice one. Women can be so vicious, to themselves as well as others.

Gosh - sorry, I'm only just catching up on the last three posts - they're all great - just enough to intrigue and entrap, to leave us thinking and questioning. I'll look forward now to the next few sins!

Very well written, and, though fiction, true for many.
